Behind the Potter's Success
Michael Kreisberg recognizes the opportunity he had growing up with access to a prestigious school endowed with a strong ceramics program.
After classic instruction led to a foundational understanding, he quickly found passion in the pottery studio.
Under the study of Dick Luster, at University of Northern Colorado, Michael grew into a promising artist.
In 2020, Michael built his own pottery studio in Fort Collins. His pottery career now includes creating, glazing, firing and teaching.
Michael specializes in Raku, Salt Fire, and High Fire techniques. His pieces range from very delicate and highly detailed to very large and expressive. All of Michael's beautiful pottery pieces are fully functional and wonderful to look at.
