





David Theissen is an artist and former educator living in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was born and raised in western South Dakota and earned a BFA from St. John’s University. Since graduation he has lived and worked in Wyoming, South Dakota, and North Carolina. He and his wife (also a painter) moved to Colorado in 2012 after accepting a position as the arts integration coordinator with the LISA program at the Thompson School District in Loveland, CO. Having recently retired from teaching high school art, he is pursuing his ambitions as a producing artist. He is a former member of the Thompson Valley Artists League and has exhibited work at the Lincoln Gallery and Loveland Museum in Loveland, and at the Lincoln Center and the Center for Creativity in Fort Collins
